General Information
11 Plus
11-Plus - General Information
The lessons will begin on Wednesday January 11th 2012. If you have not received an email already please contact us to ensure that we haven't missed out your name
The session will last for 45 minutes with roughly 30 minutes being spent on the Verbal Reasoning paper and roughly 15 minutes on the Non-Verbal Reasoning.
Most weeks we will be running one session which will begin at 4.45 pm and end at 5.30 pm with two groups running in parrallel. Occasionally we will need to run the two groups sequentially but we will inform you of these dates in advance.
The cost for each session will be £10.
For the first three weeks please feel free to give your child as much help as you think they need but, after this time, please note on the paper anywhere where you give assistance so that we can know that a problem exists. You can do this by putting an astrisk next to the question where help has been given.
If a lesson is missed please check the website to make sure the appropriate homework is completed ready for the next lesson. The homework for the week that was missed could also be done and and marked at home.
If at any time you decide that you no longer wish to continue with the classes please let us know as we often have a waiting list of students who would like to attend and we would like to give them the opportunity.

Please ensure that you have copies of both of the packs of question papers ready for the first lesson.
The papers can generally be bought from such as Waterstones, WH Smith, Spencers, Wrights or the internet. For convenience links have been provided for both Amazon & Book Depository.
Note - it is the 'Standard' version that is required and not the 'Multiple Choice' version
